North Ferriby entertain third-placed Worksop Town in an Evostik League Premier Division game.   Worksop are a much changed team from last season but have started this campaign well.  With 14 goals in their first five games they will provide a tough test for Ferriby.

Ferriby's management duo of Neil Allison and John Anderson will have been pleased with their team's performance at Osset last Saturday. Ferriby dominated that game and were unlucky not to have won such was their dominance. Equally important was keeping the first clean sheet of the season. A similar performance will be expected against Worksop. something that pleased Allison after the team had leaked some silly goals in earlier games.

Unbeaten on their travels, Ferriby will be looking for their first home win of the season. If they can repeat the flowing football they have been playing and match the defensive qualities they displayed at Ossett they are more than capable of beating Worksop. As Allison says, "We are always going to create chances and score goals with the quality of players we have."

Although it is early days, the Evostik Premier Division is already shaping-up to be a tense battle this season with everybody capable of beating everybody else.  Allison will be expecting his side to beat Worksop and be  in the top half of the table before this season's FA Cup journey starts on Saturday with a home match against last Saturday's opponents, Ossett Town.

With no injuries from Saturday's match, in which Sam Denton made his return to the team following suspension, Allison has a full squad to choose from.
