Mickleover Sports v North Ferriby United

North Ferriby travel to play Mickleover Sports, another newly promoted side. This will be the first time that the Clubs have played each other. With both sides losing their opening games, each will be looking to kick-start their Evostik Premier Division campaign.

Ferriby's performance on Saturday against Colwyn Bay was disappointing and Neil Allison and John Anderson will be expecting an improved display at Mickleover. The Villagers were heavily punished on Saturday for some slack defending, not something that is usually associated with the team.

Assistant Manager Anderson commented, "The game at Mickleover will be difficult. They have had two successive promotions and have a very strong home record." He will be looking for a more resolute performance on Wednesday.

Ferriby are not known for getting their seasons off to a flying start but they will not want to return without at least point on Wednesday. Everybody at the Club is keen to emulate last season's success in a Division that becomes more difficult to win each season.

Peter Davidson but still remains doubtful following a ligament injury   Sam Denton continues his suspension. Apart from these two, The Villagers will have a virtually full squad to choose from.
